What is the Jacob Bar?

What makes Jacob the world's cleanest protein bar?

What we put in: grass-fed protein, organic honey and dates, grass-fed beef tallow, real cocoa, real vanilla, real berry powders. What we leave out: seed oils, artificial sweeteners, “natural” flavors, gums, emulsifiers, and preservatives.

What kind of protein do you use?

A grass-fed blend of whey protein isolate, milk protein isolate, and collagen. Animal proteins absorb more efficiently than plant proteins.

Why do you use beef tallow?

Nutrient-dense fats keep you satiated. Beef tallow carries fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K, along with choline and CLA.

Why is there sugar in your bar?

Organic honey and dates are the only sugars. There are no artificial, refined, or processed sugars. Honey is still an added sugar to the FDA. Most bars use sucralose, stevia, monk fruit, or sugar alcohols instead.

What are “natural” flavors and why do you avoid them?

We don't use “natural” flavors. Those formulas can include solvents and additives that do not have to be listed. We use pure extracts and powders from whole foods.
